Rogers Environmental Education Center
Sherburne
In Memory of Mimi Welshonce who, with her daughter Sarah, joined us on this hike 2 years ago.
Mimi passed away a year ago in July.
We will hike multiple short loop trails to cover about 2 miles.
After the hike we will drive the short distance to have lunch at Gilligan's.

After lunch we will drive a couple of miles north to the Hillcrest Lavender Farm to pick your own lavender if you want or shop for lavender products in their gift shop.

Wednesday, July 9 at 10 am
We will meet in the parking area at the Education Center which is located at 2721 State Route 80 in Sherburne.
When signing up below let me know where we will meet you, and if carpooling are you willing to be a driver.
The weather report shows that we should have a partly sunny, partly cloudy day, high temps in the mid 70s, and winds about 8 mph.
The trails are relatively flat, natural surfaced. It is July near the river and ponds so bring bug spray. Depending on recent rain trails could be muddy so bring appropriate shoes.
We will carpool from the Riverside Plaza parking area across from P&C Fresh in Cortland, nearest to the river.
We will leave at 9 am
Backpack, water, snack
Sunscreen, bug spray
Money for lunch and additional activities at the Lavender Farm.
Change of clothes/shoes if desired
As of 7/8 at 4:45 pm
